What our Staff says about working with us
Delivery driving for pizza has taught me some valuable lessons! I have hit 2 🦌, 1 fence, blown an engine, offered some strange tips, had life threatened for ringing a doorbell, driven above the speed limit, cars force me off the road, numerous near misses, slammed on brakes, cursed at, get complaints for any mistake made by someone else, ... so realize that more than any other employee in one way or another nearly every night we experience a life threatening moment. The other employees think driving is the easiest job, and they wish they could make our $! Respect the customer and trust that the oven is hot & knives are sharp; and you should survive your job. I have delivered pizza in rain, snow, wind, mud, floods, heat, hurricanes, tornadoes, and a deadly virus pandemic! Why do it? Feeding people that need our help, the thanks of cheering children, the kind conversations with hurt and lonely people, and those that treat you as if you're a superhero for delivering food! I don't track my tips so that I can be kind to everyone and trust God to take care of me! But, why do it truthfully is for the owners and coworkers because I love them! I use this job to help the church not to cut my salary by giving all the money back to God after gas and car maintenance. So tip or not, kind or mean, love or hate the food, fast or slow delivery, ... I try to pray before every shift to be a blessing to my pizza family of coworkers and every customer! In spite of being a Pastor, I try not to preach or advise unless asked. My hope is to shine the light of Christ to everyone I can!
I've worked for the Darings almost 6 years now & I don't regret a thing. It has been an amazing experience. It's a lot of fun to work with the Mulligans team. We're all like family. We have the ups and downs like family but in the end we all care about one another. We help one another without judgement. The best part of the job is meeting the customers. We do have some of the most loyal customers & also can't forget about my "Fur customers" I sure do love the fur baby customers!
I have worked for the Daring family for a couple of years now and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. The energetic and familial atmosphere, plus the totally awesome food, are just a few things that make this workplace feel like a home. I leave work feeling happy and connected to my coworkers and customers and I love getting to work somewhere that values family, dedication, and teamwork!
